Okay, I’ll air my prejudice. - It seems to me that cannabis
enhances one’s ideas about one’s ideas, - so that they seem like especially
good ideas. Seldom does it change them. If one already is a fairly articulate
and sophisticated philosopher, then one’s ideas (let’s say, about saving the
planet) will seem even more significant under the influence of cannabis. If, on
the other hand, one isn’t already much of a thinker, then whatever notion pops
into one’s head may seem more significant. Like, for example, the fact that
your fingernails are growing all the time could seem like, "wow, my
fingernails are growing all the time", really significant. In my experience
and from critical observation of what other people have so far said to me,
cannabis does not appear to be the carrier of its own message. I remain to be
convinced.
